2ND HORİZON EUROPE PROJECT WİTH OUR SAFE AND SUSTAİNABLE DESİGN!
The main objective of the “Safe and Sustaianble by Desing” (SSbD4CheM) project is to promote the development of products and processes that are safe for humans and the environment, while also being economically sustainable. The platform aims to integrate safety and sustainability considerations into the design and development of new products and processes, rather than addressing them as an afterthought. 19 partners from 14 nations will collaborated in the project.
The strategic goal of SSbD4CheM is to introduce screening and testing methods for safe- and sustainable materials development in three relevant application areas; textile, automotive and cosmetics industries. These applications, will be the starting point for further implementation and standardisation of the new methods. In textile application, studies will be carried out by materials/chemicals include Per- and polyfluorinated alkyl compounds (PFAS)-free textile coatings and fibres with different structures. As KORTEKS, we will be leading the textile activities in the project.
